Meet Ian – Founder of SLAB
With over 20 years in the trade, Ian started tiling in 2003, gaining his NVQ Level 2 and later earning a BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Education, which qualified him to teach wall and floor tiling. From 2013 to 2015, he lectured at Leeds College of Building, training the next generation of tilers across Yorkshire.
After years of hands-on experience and teaching, Ian founded SLAB to offer top-tier tiling services with an emphasis on quality, precision, and innovation. His expertise in natural stone, porcelain, ceramic, and mosaic tiling ensures every project meets the highest standards.
